Metal Stud Framing Drywall Acoustical Ceilings Doors

Project Overview

Ground-up construction of a ~27,000 SF, 3-story hurricane-resilient fire station on Galveston Island — designed to remain operational through Category 5 conditions and flood events. Scope included interior and exterior metal stud framing in light and heavy gauge, drywall, tape and float, acoustical ceilings, and door and hardware installation across apparatus bays, living quarters, and administrative spaces. Heavy-gauge framing systems, corrosion-resistant materials, and elevated structural performance requirements throughout. Work executed to public safety codes with zero-tolerance compliance standards across all life-safety assemblies.
